What to do in an electrical emergency

• If you smell burning or see smoke or sparks, switch off at the fuse board if it’s safe to do so
• Don’t touch anything that looks scorched, wet or damaged
• If there’s a fire, get out and call 999
• Then call us on 07999 489 496

Common call-outs

• Total or partial loss of power
• Fuse board or RCD that keeps tripping
• Burning smells, scorched or buzzing sockets
• Water leaking near electrics
• Lights, sockets or appliance circuits that have stopped working
• Making a property safe after a leak, fire or break-in
